Digital signage by industry, in plain terms.

The same content management system, applied to the screens and the problems a specific sector actually has. A retailer changes pricing across every store at once. A school pushes an alert to every screen on campus. A hospital keeps each department’s waiting area current from one place.

LiveSign runs on the hardware each sector already owns: natively on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS commercial displays with no separate player box, and on Android, Windows, Linux, and BrightSign players for everything else. One CMS drives all of it, cloud-hosted or self-hosted.

Every industry below has real customer evidence behind it or a direct product fit. If your deployment is not listed, the same CMS still handles it.

THE SAME UNDERNEATH

Central scheduling
One-off, repeat, always-on and campaign schedules, published to every screen at once.
Display groups
Group screens by store, floor, building or department, and target a change to just that group.
Scoped access
Control which CMS features each user or group can reach, so local teams edit only their own screens.
Display Admin
Real-time monitoring with diagnostic and proof-of-play data per screen.

Digital signage by industry: common questions

What is digital signage software?

Digital signage software is the content management system that runs a network of screens: you build a layout once, schedule it, and every display picks up the change on its next check-in, instead of updating screens one by one or printing posters. LiveSign is that CMS, with players for Windows, Android, Linux, LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, and BrightSign.

Does LiveSign work for my industry if there is no page for it?

Yes. The six industry pages describe the situations each sector hits most often, but the product is the same underneath: central scheduling, display grouping, scoped user access, and monitoring. If your deployment is not listed, talk to sales about what you are running.

Do we have to replace our screens to use LiveSign?

No. LiveSign runs natively on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS commercial displays with no extra hardware, and on Android, Windows, Linux, or BrightSign players for any other screen. A mixed estate built up over several refresh cycles is normal.

Can we buy the software outright instead of subscribing?

Yes. LiveSign offers a perpetual licence alongside the $12 per display per month subscription. The perpetual licence lets you own the software and self-host the CMS on your own infrastructure rather than pay a recurring per-screen fee indefinitely.

Can the CMS be self-hosted?

Yes. The Live CMS runs cloud-hosted by LiveSign or self-hosted on your own servers. Dedicated support for self-hosted deployments is included on the Enterprise plan.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial runs for 14 days with a choice of two players and no credit card required.
