What partnering with LiveSign actually means.
The LiveSign partner programme is how systems integrators, AV installers and distributors resell Live digital signage: three tiers, a published one-time setup fee on each, and a published discount that applies to hosting, CMS renewals, perpetual player licences and the paid plans for as long as you keep selling.
The choice between the tiers is not really about the discount. It is about whose brand your customer sees when they open the CMS. Reseller puts yours there. Distributor keeps the Live brand and leverages it. Channel Partner is for firms that have already built a service business around the Live product set and want the margin to match.
Plenty of firms that ask about this do not need it at all. If you are buying Live for your own screens, or running it for a customer as a managed service while the account stays yours, there is nothing to apply for and no fee to pay. The application exists for the case where ownership changes hands.

THE PROGRAMMES
Three tiers, and the fee is on the card.
Every setup fee and discount below is the published figure. Nothing here reads “contact us for tiering”.
STARTER
Reseller
For partners who want their own branding, not Live’s, in front of their customers. Upload your resources, request a build, and sell it as your product.
- Your logos replace Live’s across the CMS and players
- Your customer’s branding replaces yours further down the chain
- Pairs with the white-label build for application name, icon and splash screen
BASIC
Channel Partner
For partners who already know the Live product set and have built services around it — installation, content, managed monitoring — and deliver those on top.
- Double the Reseller discount on the same product list
- Written for partners with a delivery capability, not just a reselling licence
- Assessed on your track record with the Live products
ADVANCE
Distributor
A licence to resell the Live products while keeping the Live brand in front of your customers, at the deepest published discount.
- The Live brand stays on the CMS and players
- Your customers’ own branding replaces Live’s where they need it
- The tier to ask about if you supply resellers, not only end customers
BEFORE YOU PAY A SETUP FEE
A lot of firms asking about this do not need to apply.
The partner application exists for one situation: you are buying part of the Live solution to sell on, so that your customer becomes the owner of the cloud-hosted CMS, the players or the plan.
If you are buying Live for your own screens, or you will run it on a customer’s behalf as a managed service provider while the account stays in your name, there is no application and no setup fee. Buy the plan that fits and get on with it. If you want to do both, run two accounts and apply only for the reselling side.
Tell us which of those you actually are at the first conversation. It is a five-minute question that decides whether the next thing you spend is $5,000 or $12.
WHAT COMES WITH IT
What you are actually taking to market.
Six things that ship today. No partner portal, no marketing fund, no lead registration system, because none of those exist to promise you.
A discount that keeps applying
Once your application is accepted and the setup fee is paid, the discount applies to cloud hosting, cloud-hosted CMS renewals, perpetual player licences for Android, Tizen and webOS, and the Professional, Business and Enterprise plans. Renewals, not just the first order.
Six platforms to sell from one CMS
Windows, Android, Linux, LG webOS, Samsung Tizen and BrightSign all run from the same CMS, so a mixed estate is one quote and one training job instead of three.
See the detailTwo licence models in the bag
Subscription for customers who want an operating cost, a perpetual licence for the ones whose finance team will not sign another recurring line. Most of the category can only sell the first.
See the detailAn answer for the IT questionnaire
Self-hosting, SAML single sign-on, scoped user access and fully offline operation are all shipped capability, set out on one page you can send straight to your customer’s IT team.
See the detailTraining for your team
Every plan includes Live Training School (Teachable) licences. If your team is bigger than the plan’s allocation, or you are on the Independent perpetual licence, extra licences can be bought separately.
Hardware you can quote with confidence
Four supplied players with their real specifications published, so you can spec a single-screen site or a six-output video wall without chasing a distributor for a datasheet.
See the detailHOW TO APPLY
Four steps, and the first one is free.
Nothing is discounted until the application is accepted and the setup fee is paid. Price live deals accordingly.
Decide whose brand the customer sees
This one question picks your programme. Your brand in the software means Reseller. The Live brand means Distributor. Neither, because you are buying for your own screens or managing someone else’s, means no application at all.
Apply for that programme
Existing Live customers register as a partner from their account; everyone else starts with a conversation. Tell us the markets you sell into and what you already deliver around signage, because the Channel Partner tier is assessed on exactly that.
Application accepted, setup fee paid
The setup fee for your tier is a one-time charge, not a subscription. Nothing is discounted before both of those have happened, which is worth knowing if you are pricing a live deal against it.
Sell at your discount
From then on the published discount applies to hosting, CMS renewals, perpetual player licences and the Professional, Business and Enterprise plans, with Live Training School licences for your team on every plan you carry.
WHERE LIVE ALREADY SELLS
Named partners on three continents.
The channel is not a plan. These three firms already carry Live into their markets, and the programme you are reading about is the one they signed.
NORTH AMERICA
AVI-SPL
Live’s named partner across the North American market.
EUROPE
Audio Video Intelligence
Live’s named partner across the European market.
MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA
Connectiv
Live’s named partner across the Middle East and Africa.
Live is a toolbox that can help you generate business and revenue.
Partner programme: common questions
What is a digital signage partner programme, and do I need one?
It is a written agreement that lets you resell someone else’s signage platform at a discount, under either their brand or your own. You need one if you are buying part of the Live solution to sell on, so that your customer becomes the owner of the CMS, the players or the plan. You do not need one if you are buying Live for your own screens, or running it on a customer’s behalf as a managed service provider while remaining the owner yourself.
Which programme should I apply for?
It depends on which brand is presented in the software. Apply for Reseller if you want the CMS and players to show your own logos instead of the shipped Live ones. Apply for Distributor if you want to keep and leverage the Live brand with your customers. Channel Partner sits between them, for partners with proven experience selling the Live product set and services built around it.
How much does it cost to become a LiveSign partner?
A one-time setup fee per tier: $5,000 for Reseller, $10,000 for Channel Partner and $25,000 for Distributor. The discount attached to each tier is 5%, 10% and 15% respectively, applied to plans and selected products once the application is accepted and the fee is paid.
What exactly is discounted?
Cloud hosting for a cloud-hosted CMS, renewals for a cloud-hosted CMS, perpetual player licences for Live for Android, Live for Tizen and Live for webOS, and the Professional, Business and Enterprise plans. That list is the whole list. If something you plan to resell is not on it, ask before you build your pricing around it.
Is white label included in the partner tiers?
No. White label is a separate, one-time customisation priced at $2,100 per brand, covering the application name, icon, splash screen and about text. Partners commonly combine it with the Reseller programme, but the two are bought separately and either works without the other.
Do partners get training?
Yes. Every plan includes Live Training School (Teachable) licences, and extra licences for a larger team can be purchased separately. Partners on the Independent perpetual licence buy their training licences the same way.
What support do partners and their customers get?
Help Desk support through the plan, alongside the knowledge base, with the Help Desk open 8:00 to 18:00 GMT/BST. SLA-based support is a function of the plan rather than the partner tier, so a customer who needs one should be on the Business or Enterprise plan. If you sell into time zones outside those hours, raise it with sales before you commit to a support promise of your own.
Can I be an end customer and a reseller at the same time?
Yes. Run two accounts: one for the screens you own and operate yourself, one for the business you resell. Only the reselling side needs a partner application.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
Pick the tier, then let's talk terms.
Reseller has its terms written out in full. The other two start with a conversation about the markets you sell into.
One-time setup fee · published discounts · white label priced separately
