The SDA is a purpose built “set top box” device with an unlicensed copy of Live pre-installed, and can be connected to a monitor/display panel via HDMI. For technical support please email our help desk. The manufacturer of this device provides a 1 year return to base warranty for hardware faults.
We recommend taking insurance on all orders and are not liable for lost/damaged deliveries where insurance has not been taken. Units are dispatched from our warehouse in London, United Kingdom or from Boxtel, the Netherlands depending on your delivery address. Please see our shipping FAQ for more information.
Delivery is handled by our Logistics Partners. Where we ship products to countries where taxes or duties may be payable, you are responsible for paying these unless you select to pre-pay charges at checkout.

What version of Live for Android does the SDA come with?
Live for Android version 3 R304 is pre-installed, however you can upgrade the software to the latest version one of two ways: manually at the device or via CMS once the Player is connected to a CMS. Information about the latest version of Live for Android and download instructions are available here.
If I buy the SDA, do I still need an Android License?
Yes, the SDA is sold with an unlicensed Live for Android Player. But if you sign up to one of our cost effective Plans, the Live for Android licence is included in the cost of the plan! See our Pricing page for information. If you’re not on a Plan, perpetual licenses are available to purchase separately.
What are the benefits of using the SDA?

Updates and Security Reports
The SDA ships with Android 9.0. No security or version updates are expected to be released for the OS unless these become available from Amlogic.
