Live for webOS connects and is integrated to the Live CMS, be that Cloud or self-hosted. Live for webOS is developed in a way that it fully supports the latest releases and updates.
Offline and New Device Options
We want you to have the flexibility to move a license to a new device if a device is damaged or lost. To provide this service all Live for WebOS installations check with our license service over the internet every 30 days.
Live for WebOS can also be licensed for usage on a corporate WAN or on local intranets. For £300.00 GBP you can purchase an off-line license module* that lives on your CMS. This can be used to manually license your clients and remove the need for the 30 day check.

Can the webOS player be used in an offline digital signage network?
Yes, Live for webIS can be used in offline digital signage networks when an On-Premise Licencing Module is purchased and deployed. This is an add on only available via our Independent Pricing with Perpetual licensing.
How does Live for webOS know what to play and when?
Our webOS player will connect with its Live CMS over HTTP or HTTPS. It will then download the scheduled digital signage, cache it, and then display it from local storage when the time is right.
