TESTED DEVICE LIST

Samsung Tizen displays, checked model by model.

Every Samsung series we have data for, grouped by chipset generation, with the ones we have tested directly marked as such. Check your model here before you order.

How to read this list.

Samsung groups its signage displays by Smart Signage Platform generation: SSSP5, SSSP6, SSSP7 and SSSP10. Live for Tizen runs on all four, with SSSP10 supported on player release R207 or R301 and newer. Find your chipset generation below, then find your series.

Models marked Tested have been verified on our side. Models marked Expected share a chipset generation with tested models and should behave the same way, but we have not put one on a bench ourselves. If you are ordering a large number of an Expected model, ask us first and we will confirm before you commit.

A model missing from this list is not automatically incompatible. Send us the exact model code and we will tell you what we know about it.

Samsung Tizen compatibility: common questions

Which Samsung displays work with LiveSign?

Samsung Smart Signage Platform displays on SSSP5, SSSP6 and SSSP7, plus SSSP10 on player release R207 or R301 and newer. The tables on this page list the Samsung series in each chipset generation and mark which have been tested directly.

What does "Expected (same chipset)" mean?

That model has not been tested by us directly, but it uses the same Samsung chipset generation as models that have been, so it is expected to work. If you are buying a large number of a model marked this way, talk to us first and we will confirm.

Do we need a separate media player for these screens?

No. Live for Tizen runs on the Samsung chip inside the display itself, so the screen needs power and a network connection and nothing else behind it.

Can the Tizen player be used in an offline digital signage network?

Yes. Live for Tizen can be used in offline digital signage networks when an On-Premise Licensing Module is purchased and deployed. This add-on is only available via Independent Pricing with perpetual licensing.

How does Live for Tizen know what to play and when?

The Tizen player connects to its Live CMS over HTTP or HTTPS, downloads the scheduled digital signage, caches it, and displays it from local storage when the time is right. It keeps playing from that local cache if the connection drops.

Our display is not on this list. Now what?

Send us the exact model code. The list covers the Samsung series we have data for, and a model missing from it is not automatically incompatible, particularly if it shares a chipset generation with models that are listed.

NOT ON THE LIST

Have a Tizen display not listed here?

Send us the exact model code. Missing from the list does not mean incompatible.
