Yodeck is cheaper at the headline rate and its free single-screen tier is genuinely free. Where the comparison changes is over time. Fifty screens for five years at $8 is $24,000; at $12 it is $36,000. Both of those numbers keep going in year six, unless the licence is one you bought outright, and Yodeck doesn’t sell one at any tier.

Five of the six overlap exactly. The split is at the ends: Yodeck has a Raspberry Pi player it bundles free with annual plans, and Fire TV and browser players on top. LiveSign has a dedicated Linux player, which matters if your estate runs Linux thin clients or industrial PCs. If your screens are Samsung or LG panels, either platform runs on the screen itself without a box.

“Not published” means Yodeck’s own pages don’t state it. It isn’t a claim that the product can’t do it, and if Yodeck publishes one of these we’ll correct the row.
Who each is better for
Yodeck if you want the lowest published entry rate, a real free tier for one screen, a longer trial, or Raspberry Pi hardware bundled with the subscription.
LiveSign if you want the option to own the licence instead of renting it indefinitely, if the CMS has to run on your own infrastructure, if you need a Linux player, video wall output or content on staff desktops, or if you are reselling signage and want the platform under your own brand at a published price.
Both are HTML5 signage platforms with overlapping player support. The decision is usually the licence and the hosting, not the content editor.
